The Funding of The Tunnell Trust for Young Musicians and its Activities

The Tunnell Trust for Young Musicians relies on support funding from numerous sources both within the charitable and commercial sectors as well as the continuing generosity of many individual donors.

The Trust and more importantly, many deserving potential stars of the future would be extremely grateful for any donations however large or small!

The Funding of the Music Club Awards Scheme

The Awards Scheme has in the past been funded solely by the Trust’s modest investment income.

We are now urgently seeking additional donations to help maintain and indeed broaden the scheme as interest rates have left the amount we have to spend reduced in recent years.

The Funding of the Blair Atholl Showcase

The Blair Atholl Course is funded through the generosity of numerous individual donors, many high profile business sponsors and charitable organisations.

Each year the Trust needs to raise the necessary funds to cover the cost of the course from both the charitable and commercial sectors.

Each year the total cost of promoting the Course is approximately £22,000.

It has always been the wish of our Trustees not to charge fees to the young people attending the course.

The Funding of Other Promotions

All additional concerts and events promoted by the Trust are supported by commercial sponsorship or donations from charities or individuals.
