Now in its fifth year, the Quartet regularly appears in festivals and concerts throughout Europe and has collaborated with such established and respected artists as the Vanburgh and Vogler String Quartets, violist Rivka Golani and the Paris-Bastille Wind Octet. The Quartet has received many prizes includingаa Special Prize from the 2002 Paulo Borciani String Quartet Competition for their performance of Haydn and has commissioned and premiered works by Irish composers Ian Wilson, Ronan Guilfoyle and Raymond Deane and Finnish composer Kimmo Hakola. The Quartet has also recently recorded a disc of Schubert works for string quartet. In 2004 they won the main award of the Tunnell Trust for Young Musicians which will se them touring Scotland in 2006.
